Safe Sleep and Reducing the Risk of SIDS in Child Care


In an effort to promote information about Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and safe sleeping practices that can save infant's lives, Indiana law requires all licensed child care homes, as well as all homes receiving CCDF vouchers, to comply with PL 162-2005 regarding safe sleeping practices training. This law went into effect on July 1, 2005.
